_ Save money
All of these goals are set to reach our overall goal, to get you more jobs, Build a stronger community, and
Save you money!
- Looking to use more subcontractors in an effort to save money.
- Review all City contracts to be sure we are getting the best for what we are paying.
- Actively work with lake county and the state to bring in new business’ and jobs to our town. We have the largest amount of industrial property in the county lets put it to use.
- Reduce the Rental Fee we are charging for city owned building in an effort to bring in more revenue.
- Work with council and staff to bring the Groveland Industrial Park to reality.
- Work with council to annex in the properties in the Christopher C. Ford Industrial park that already have signed covenants to annex. This will bring in more tax revenue with very little impact on services revenue.
- More Transparency in Groveland’s Government.
- Install camera in council chambers creating easy access for citizens to view every meeting.
- More city sponsored food drives.
- More community involvement: set up a citizen budget review committee.
- More events like the 4th of July & Christmas Parade.
- Set up a complaint form so the citizens can voice their opinions to the council on the City web site.
- Work with council to do more with economic development than just attending meetings. Like setting up booths at franchise conventions with Lake County Economic Development Committee.
- Less Tax - More Growth
All of these goals are set to reach our overall goal, to get you more jobs, Build a stronger community, and
Save you money!
